HR Business Partner

We are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our HR function as a Senior HR Business Partner. You will be an advisor to senior leaders utilising strong HR experience and expertise. You will develop and execute business strategies focused on talent management, organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and employee engagement to name a few. In addition, we want to bring your experience to life by developing and implementing best practice processes and policies to help guide the organisation and enable NNL to be have the best HR team. Role Responsibility

Purpose:

 

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the business and its senior leaders to provide specialist support to effectively manage their resources and implement their plans ensuring that the Company’s visions and values are aligned to strategic objectives providing advice in line with employment legislation. 

 

You will lead on a specific HR portfolio whilst developing the Operational HR Advisors and Shared Service team in line with the HR Profession Map.

 

Accountabilities:

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Drive the HR strategic agenda on a 2 to 3 year horizon
  • Influence leadership behaviours to in line with the agreed framework
  • Identifies, facilitates and supports organisational change/development/design
  • Partner with HR Support Team to support continuous development regularly reviewing against best practice approaches
  • Translate business requirements into effective HR practices, delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives
  • Engage with the business for development and succession planning
  • Final stage support for individual complex cases as required including disciplinary, grievance and performance support etc.
  • Lead on specific HR portfolio topics linked with the HR Profession Map ie reward, employee relations; policies
  • Line management and development responsibility for the Operational Business Partner team and longer-term responsibility for the shared service team within the HR function ensuring a consistent and good quality service is being delivered across the function.

Experience and Skills:

 

The successful candidate will be:

 

  • CIPD qualified
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence & challenge stakeholders and senior managers.
  • Up to date knowledge and application in the workplace of employment law
  • Strong sense of commercial business awareness
  • Exceptional personal resilience
  • Experienced Business Partner with proven ability to manage a complex portfolio of generalist responsibilities
  • Unsurpassable level of integrity complimented by impressive can-do attitude
  • Strategically astute
