Reporting to the office manager, the facility cleaner will provide cleaning services throughout NNL A709 building. The role requires the successful candidate to carry out cleaning operations in office areas, plant active areas, kitchens and toilets.

Role Responsibility

Main Responsibilities for Cleaner:

• Cleaning of area’s listed below but not limited to:
  • Hoovering of office area
  • Cleaning of Corridors
  • Stairwells
  • Contact corridors outside laboratories
  • Cleaning of laboratories
  • Toilets 
  • Locker Room
  • Kitchens

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Criteria for Cleaner:

• Demonstratable back ground of cleaning within an office and plant environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to obtain SC level security clearance (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment, financial and criminal record checks plus 5 years’ worth of UK residency).

Desirable Criteria for Cleaner:

• To manage and order cleaning consumables.
• Proficient in the use of general cleaning machines & buffers.
• Experience of working in a nuclear environment.
