A Business Services Support team member is a highly visible customer facing role within NNL, providing essential administrative support to employees and visitors.

NNLs administration team provides a wide variety of duties and support to internal and external customers. Reception cover, visits co-ordination and the checking and issuing of documents are regular tasks in the day-to-day role.  Flexibility is required.

Role Responsibility

Main Responsibilities for Business Services Administrator:

  • Undertake day to day administration in association with the reception desk facility.
  • Visit co-ordination.
  • Arranging travel bookings: air, rail, taxi and car hire requests, hotel bookings, conference facility bookings.
  • Document Control.
  • Pool asset administration.
  • Ordering of stationery and consumables for office including One Card reconciliation.
  • Receive calls to the main switchboard and accurately record details, acting on information provided.
  • General Administrative duties to include but not limited to updating spreadsheets, typing documents, updating notice boards and all types of administrative support to various teams.
  • Ad hoc support to building management.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Criteria for Business Services Administrator:

  • Proven experience of organisational skills and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business.
  • Detail orientated and the ability to work to stringent deadlines.
  • Evidence of self-motivation with demonstrable levels of drive, energy and resilience.
  • Strong communicator and good interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive.
  • Proficient in all MS office packages.
  • Willing to work flexibly and as a member of a team.
  • GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to obtain SC level security clearance (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment, financial and criminal record checks plus 5 years’ worth of UK residency).
