To provide effective, accurate and comprehensive day-to-day administration service to support the L&D team in delivery of business objectives.

Role Responsibility

Main Responsibilities for Learning and Development Administrator:

  • Provide training administration for: classroom and virtual training, e-learning, education concessions, NNL required training, induction, training campaigns, NI membership scheme, central training booking numbers, ensuring all learners/providers receive accurate and timely instructions to enable the efficient running of our courses and programmes.
  • Provide general administration support to the L&D team in line with requests and timescales to support the delivery of L&D/early careers work.
  • Manage the L&D email inbox and general enquiries and provide advice and guidance on basic L&D procedures and processes ensuring advice is relevant, accurate and provided in a timely manner.
  • Maintain L&D/training record data in Business World and Nimble, including management of e-learning user accounts and e-learning result transfer to Business World, ensuring data is complete, up to date and maintained in line with GDPR policies and procedures.
  • Collate L&D/early careers metrics, performance and evaluation data and generate reports to meet team reporting deadlines and in response to ad hoc requests.
  • Raise PRs, pay invoices and manage financial transitions for L&D and early careers spend ensuring compliance with Procurement/Finance processes and timely orders/payments.
  • Proactivity recommend and implement improvements to L&D/early careers processes and services to support continual improvement within the team.
  • Comply with relevant policies and procedures and contribute to risk management, governance and assurance processes to support overall team performance in these areas.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Criteria for Learning and Development Administrator:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation skills, able to coordinate and manage L&D business requests
  • Ability to prioritise urgent work requests and to work under pressure to tight timescales
  • Good interpersonal skills: ability to work on own or as part of a team and to seek advice when required
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Self-confident with ability to proactively build relationships and initiate activities
  • Good knowledge of L&D processes and procedures
  • Strong planning, organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment and criminal record checks).
